Meet the Team – Paula Douglas

Having been part of the Steadmans team for over five years, Paula works within the Sales department as an Order Processor, helping ensure customer orders are managed efficiently and accurately from start to finish.

Working closely with both customers and colleagues, Paula plays an important role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. From processing orders to supporting the wider sales team, her focus is always on delivering a reliable and professional experience for customers.

“I enjoy working closely with both the team and our customers,” Paula says.

“It’s important that everything is handled properly and that customers feel supported throughout the process.”

Known for her positive attitude and strong attention to detail, Paula takes pride in helping maintain the high standards of service customers expect from Steadmans. Her experience and knowledge within the business allow her to support projects efficiently while helping ensure communication remains clear and consistent.

As part of the wider internal team, Paula helps provide the dependable support that keeps projects progressing and customers informed at every stage.

Outside of work, Paula enjoys spending time supporting two local charities in a unique volunteering role – as a jigsaw checker. Carefully completing puzzles to make sure every piece is included before photographing the finished result, it’s certainly a hobby that requires patience, dedication, and attention to detail.

And if that doesn’t perfectly reflect the qualities she brings to her role at Steadmans, nothing does.
