Meet the Team – Rachael Watt
At Steadmans, building strong customer relationships starts with taking the time to listen and that’s exactly the approach Rachael Watt brings to her role as Business Development Co-ordinator for our Fyvie office.
Working closely with customers throughout their journey, Rachael supports everything from quotations and orders through to coordinating collections and helping ensure projects run smoothly. Her role involves assisting customers with their requirements, answering questions, and helping identify the best solutions for each individual project.
“I assist customers with their requirements and advise what we can offer for each customer’s project,” Rachael explains.
“From quotation, to order, to loading on site at Fyvie, I can assist the customer throughout the process.”
For Rachael, building strong customer relationships comes down to communication and giving people your time.
“I think listening and chatting with a customer goes a long way,” she says.
“Getting to know people a little and giving them your time is really important.”
By taking this approachable and supportive approach, Rachael helps ensure customers feel valued and supported from start to finish.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs and husband, as well as relaxing with a good book after a busy week. An avid reader and self-confessed book lover, she enjoys nothing more than unwinding with a cup of tea and a new novel.
Coming from a farming background and married to a farmer, much of her spare time is also spent helping out on the farm most recently supporting through lambing season with over 850 sheep.
When it comes to holidays, Disneyland remains one of Rachael’s favourite destinations, and she’s particularly excited to be heading back there for her birthday this year. She also enjoys cruises, giving her the chance to explore multiple places while enjoying good food along the way.
And for a fun fact? Before joining Steadmans, Rachael qualified as a Graphic Designer.
