Meet the Team – Rachel Wills

As a Sales Order Processor, Rachel plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are handled accurately, efficiently, and with a personal touch. One of the ways she stands out is through her proactive approach to communication.

“I always prefer to pick up the phone if I’m unsure about anything,” Rachel explains.

“It’s much better than going back and forth over email – you can resolve things quickly and make sure everything is clear.”

This approach not only helps avoid delays but also builds stronger relationships with customers. Rachel prides herself on being approachable and easy to talk to, creating a friendly rapport that helps customers feel confident and supported.

“I enjoy speaking to people and building that connection,” she says.

“It helps customers trust that their order is in safe hands.”

By combining clear communication with a personable approach, Rachel helps ensure every customer interaction is smooth and positive – reinforcing Steadmans’ commitment to reliability and service.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time at home with her husband and daughter, making the most of family life.

She is also an avid reader, with a particular love for romance novels – a hobby that provides the perfect way to relax and unwind.

Her ideal weekend is all about taking it easy, whether that’s watching TV or heading to the pub, and when it comes to holidays, Gran Canaria is a favourite destination – especially now she has a timeshare there.

A fun fact? Rachel comes from a big family, with four brothers and three sisters – so she’s certainly no stranger to lively conversations.
