When works began on the roofing upgrade at the Brook Taverner site, the project team faced a challenging brief: replace the ageing asbestos roofing while the facility remained fully operational. With no access permitted to the underside of the existing roof, safety and speed became the critical priorities from day one.

Overcoming Live-Site Challenges with Precision and Speed:

The project presented a unique constraint: the existing asbestos roof and Sutcliffe Construction’s requirement to keep the building fully operational meant traditional access methods couldn’t be used. To maintain safe working conditions, sacrificial nets were installed, allowing roofing works to continue externally without interrupting the client’s operations.
